Experimental workshop with Silvia Durrer (Australia / Switzerland)
Misty is a special designed bear, perfectely made for learning different techniques and experience with needle sculpting and shading.

Misty, a bear lady with 25 cm of size, is designed to lie on her back with the legs in the air. She is made from alpaca with ultra-suede paw pads. Misty has a double neck joint and a tummy insert. She is 6-way cotter-pin jointed. Her arms are armatured, her fingers are bendable. She is ideal for the bear maker who is comfortable to make a bear but would like to learn different techniques and experience with needle-sculpting and shading.

Prior to the workshop, each participant will get a whole kit sent at home, including detailed instructions. The bear has to be sewn beforehand. During the workshop, we will mainly be working on the face and pawns as they will extensively be needle-sculpted and painted. In addition, the face will be featured with glass eyes including eyelids, eyelashes and a beautifully embroidered nose.
